In the Nissan CWB 45 Dump Truck engine, the target coolant temperature ranges between 80°C and 90°C. This study evaluates the performance of the thermostat in the engine cooling system and its impact on engine temperature at varying engine speeds. Testing involved measuring the coolant temperature at engine speeds of 560 rpm, 1000 rpm, and 1500 rpm, with readings taken at intervals of 5, 10, and 15 minutes. The results indicated that at 1500 rpm, the coolant temperature reached 67.7°C after 15 minutes, which was insufficient to fully activate the thermostat. At 1000 rpm and 560 rpm, the temperatures were 61.7°C and 54.1°C, respectively, also below the thermostat activation threshold. These findings demonstrate that higher engine speeds result in faster temperature increases, enabling quicker thermostat activation. However, achieving the optimal temperature range requires improvements in the cooling system's design and component quality. This study provides valuable insights for enhancing the maintenance and performance of cooling systems in heavy vehicles, particularly those operating in demanding environments such as mining areas.
Ilmawan Suryapradana , Arfan Halim Copyright (c) 2024 Ilmawan Suryapradana , Arfan Halim http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.wicida.ac.id/index.php/sebatik/article/view/2496 Fri, 20 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Analysis of Locus of Control and Self Efficacy on Satisfaction Employee Work and its Impact on Performance Achievement Levels https://jurnal.wicida.ac.id/index.php/sebatik/article/view/2544
The Kampar Regency Ministry of Religion Office has the primary responsibility of formulating and establishing the vision, mission, and technical policies related to religious life services and community guidance in Kampar Regency. Coconut shell briquettes have a relatively high calorific value and are environmentally friendly. However, the production process, particularly in making charcoal and briquettes, still requires more efficient techniques and technology. The type of furnace used significantly affects the characteristics of the charcoal briquettes produced. The results of the study indicate that both combustion methods have a significant impact on the quality of the charcoal briquettes. The open furnace made of iron material required less time compared to the closed furnace combustion method. However, the closed furnace method is safer as it prevents direct contact with fire during combustion. In the combustion tests conducted three times using a closed furnace made of drum or zinc material, the charcoal yield was approximately 20%. A combustion test using 20 kg of coconut shell material produced 7.5 kg more charcoal with the closed furnace compared to the open furnace made of iron plate material. Additionally, the smoke produced from the closed furnace was minimal but steady throughout the combustion process. When compared to the quality requirements outlined in SNI 01-6235-2000, the results showed that five parameters met the standard requirements: moisture content, ash content, volatile matter content, fixed carbon content, and calorific value. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that both combustion methods have their respective advantages. The selection of the appropriate method can be tailored to production needs and environmental considerations.
Dewi Safitriani, Kris Adi Nugraha, Arini Anestesia Purba, Zaenal Muttaqien, Renal Fajri, Nur Ainun Musvirah Copyright (c) 2024 Dewi Safitriani, Kris Adi Nugraha, Arini Anestesia Purba, Zaenal Muttaqien, Renal Fajri, Nur Ainun Musvirah http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.wicida.ac.id/index.php/sebatik/article/view/2523 Fri, 20 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Comparison of YOLOv7 and YOLOv8 Architectures for Detecting Shirt Collars https://jurnal.wicida.ac.id/index.php/sebatik/article/view/2492
The shirt collar is one of the primary aspects monitored during online examinations in the postgraduate program at Gunadarma University. One method to assess a person's physical growth and development is by comparing weight and height, commonly analyzed through the Body Mass Index (BMI). To perform this analysis, accurate measurements of weight and height are required. The tool developed in this study simplifies this process by enabling simultaneous measurement of weight and height. Weight measurement is conducted using a weight sensor (Load Cell) positioned under the user's footing, similar to a typical tire scale. Height measurement, on the other hand, utilizes a laser-based distance sensor (VL53L1X) placed above the patient's head. This approach differs from traditional height measurement methods that rely on sound-based distance sensors, which often yield less accurate results due to factors such as uneven head surfaces, varying hair textures, and diffused sound waves. To address these limitations, the developed system incorporates a Scale Bar or plate that moves up and down automatically, providing a flat, stable measurement plane. This ensures more precise height measurements by focusing the laser sensor's reflection on a uniform surface. From the results of measurements on several patients, the developed tool demonstrated an average difference of only 0.3 cm for height and 0.09 kg for weight, indicating high accuracy and reliability in body measurement.
Muhammad Sainal Abidin, Aryani Adami , Desak Ketut Sutiari, Ridia Utami Kasih Copyright (c) 2024 Muhammad Sainal Abidin, Aryani Adami , Desak Ketut Sutiari, Ridia Utami Kasih http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.wicida.ac.id/index.php/sebatik/article/view/2490 Fri, 20 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Mangiferin Content in N-Hexane and Diethyl Ether Fractions of Mango (Mangifera indica L.) Tax compliance is a critical concern for the government, particularly in increasing state revenue from taxes, especially from the MSME sector. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 96 MSME actors in Singkawang City who are registered as taxpayers. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS. The findings reveal that tax services and religiosity have a significant positive effect on taxpayer compliance, indicating that high-quality tax services and strong religiosity can encourage greater compliance. Additionally, tax sanctions significantly impact compliance, showing that strict sanctions can enhance taxpayer adherence. However, tax sanctions do not moderate the relationship between tax services or religiosity and taxpayer compliance. This study concludes that to improve tax compliance among MSMEs, tax authorities should focus on enhancing service quality and reinforcing moral education through religiosity. Meanwhile, tax sanctions remain essential as a control mechanism, even though they do not consistently strengthen the relationship between services, religiosity, and compliance.
Nanang, Umiaty Hamzani, Nella Yantiana, Helisa Noviarty, Sari Rusmita Copyright (c) 2024 Nanang, Umiaty Hamzani, Nella Yantiana, Helisa Noviarty, Sari Rusmita http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.wicida.ac.id/index.php/sebatik/article/view/2487 Fri, 20 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The Influence of Work Motivation and Organizational Culture on Commitment Organization in Improving Employee Performance https://jurnal.wicida.ac.id/index.php/sebatik/article/view/2545
This research was conducted at the Kampar Regency Trade, Cooperatives, and Micro Small Enterprises Service, located on Jalan Jendral Sudirman No. 11, Bangkinang District.
