Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji identitas lokal seni budaya folklor nusantara dalam kemasan produk Boronco makanan ringan khas Sunda, Jawa Barat. Cemilan Boronco (Borondong Coklat) merupakan makanan modifikasi pangan khas daerah yang dibuat pada tahun 2022 saat masa pandemi. Pemanfaatan nilai kearifan lokal seni budaya folklor nusantara pada kemasan makanan belum banyak dilakukan pada produk Boronco. Pengenalan pemahaman seni budaya folklor melalui kemasan seni budaya produk Boronco menjadi salah satu alternatif nilai tambah produk UMKM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-kuantitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini menerapkan nilai kearifan lokal seni budaya folklor nusantara pada kemasan produk Boronco. Kajian folklor dan desain komunikasi visual pada produk Boronco yang dikemas dengan mencantumkan label dan kemasan yang bermuatan folklor yang berkembang di masyarakat Sunda. Melalui kemasan produk Boronco, diharapkan nilai kearifan lokal folklor Sunda menjadi lebih dikenal oleh masyarakat sedini mungkin khususnya anak-anak dan remaja yang sangat menyukai jajanan makanan ringan khas Sunda. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan kemasan khas folklore Sunda pada produk Boronco. Strategi pemasaran dan segmentasi pasar Boronco sebagai media perkenalan folklor nusantara atau Sunda. Penelitian ini menjadi salah satu upaya membangun ketahanan budaya Sunda dan antropologi konsumsi lokal sebagai resiliensi adaptif terhadap perkembangan budaya yang dinamis dalam menerima, menghadapi, dan mentransformasikan nilai-nilai lokal dari generasi ke generasi.
